Natural Homemade Ways to Conceive a Baby Boy
By Sandy Dean

If you’ve found this article, I have to assume that you want a baby boy, but luckily you realize that you don’t have to go to an expensive gender selection clinic to achieve that goal. You probably already realize that there are natural ways that you can tip the scales in your favor for conceiving a son. This article will discuss things you can do at home to greatly increase your odds of having a blue nursery.

Understanding The Characteristics Of Y Sperm: Before I get continue, I want to briefly touch upon characteristics of boy (or Y ) sperm. When a couple tries to conceive, a man’s sperm carries X (girl) and Y (boy) chromosomes. The Y (boy) sperm are the fastest of the two but it is not very strong or long lasting. It can not survive in a highly acidic or harsh vaginal environment. Therefore, your attempts to conceive a boy should take advantage of the Y sperm’s quickness and try to compensate for it’s weakness.

The First Thing You Can Do At Home To Ready Yourself For Conceiving A Son: I believe the first thing that you should do when you want to conceive a boy is know your vaginal PH and acidity. Because if you don’t, all of the other methods you use will be thwarted because your vaginal acidity will contribute to the Y (boy) sperm dying off before they can reach the egg. You can very easily test your acidity with PH testing strips. Once you know your number, you’ll know how far you are from what is commonly called “the boy zone’ which is the vaginal PH needed to be friendly to those sperm that will produce a son.

Changing An Acidic Vaginal PH At Home Through Foods And Specialty Douches: Many women will need to make at least some adjustments to obtain a more alkaline PH. Some women are naturally very acidic and will have to work a bit harder, but that’s ok. With diligence, nothing is impossible. Conventional wisdom indicates that you need to consume foods high in sodium and potassium if you want a boy and avoid foods that are high in calcium or magnesium. You’ll need to be very diligent about this, but altering foods can bring an acidic PH down. I believe though that for optimal and fast results, it’s best to combine douching and food alteration. Gender selection clinics sell specialty douches for this purpose, but there are recipes that allow you to make these at home.

Intercourse Positions And Ovulation Timing To Increase The Chances Of Having A Boy: Changing your vaginal PH is an important part of the equation, but it is only one part. To get a boy, you should also conceive as close to your ovulation day as possible, (preferably the day of or the day after.) Anytime before this will give the boy sperm too much time to die off before the egg arrives and will favor having a girl.

You should also use deep penetration with intercourse so that you are depositing the sperm as close to the cervix as you possibly can. This allows the boy sperm a quick, safer trip on the way to the egg, with less exposure to the vaginal environment.

Conceive A Boy is a website I set up to make the at home process of having a son a bit easier. I’ve included tips, hints, and resources (including sources for food lists and the homemade gender clinic douche recipes mentioned in this article) to help couples who wish to conceive a son using natural and inexpensive methods. Names Boys | Naming Your New Baby Boy

Naming Your New Baby Boy
By Lesa Bolt

I was so ecstatic when I discovered I was having a baby boy and immediately starting thinking of all the fun and joy I would having raising this baby from buying blue blankets and caps to first toys of trucks and cars. I enjoyed thinking of sports that he may play such as baseball and football and soccer.

As I thought of these things I started thinking of going outside and calling his name to come in to dinner or showing a photo and telling someone my son’s name. That is when I started wondering what good boys names would be. I certainly didn’t want to call a 4 syllable name as I tried to have him come inside. It just seemed so exhausting.

I personally liked the idea of a one or two syllable name because the more I pronounced names I found the more I felt tongue tied with the long names. Some names are very masculine and sound royal, but then again I am not royalty and it seemed cuter to have a shorter name. Also I thought of his friends as they would grow up together and have play times. They may make fun of a longer name or would probably shorten it anyway. I didn’t want to give my baby boy a name only to have it changed anyway by his friends because it was too long.

Peers have a way of nicknaming their friends. Sometimes a boy gets a nickname that he is labeled with throughout his life.

Boys names do not have to be masculine or have a special meaning. It can just be a name that you particularly like or enjoy hearing the syllables as they are pronounced.

The most important thing to consider when naming your baby boy is that you like the name. Don’t let others persuade you into a name they like. Make sure you like it for all the right reasons.

Choosing Unique Baby Boy Names
By Vincent Yim

Most of the times, confusion and desperation prevail when it comes to choosing baby boys names especially if the child happens to be the first baby boy and the first grandchild of both the mother’s and father’s parents.

Choosing unique baby boy names is one of the most important decisions you can do for your baby. A well-chosen name for baby boys actually ranks second in importance apart from actually giving life and a good future to your child.

Since most parents (and grandparents as well) want their offspring to be markedly different from the rest of the crowd, the Internet becomes a very valuable resource in choosing a unique name for baby boys in order to move away from the same old name patterns that seem to be prevalent. Although this may be understandable due to playing it safe, family traditions or lack of resources in choosing unusual and unique baby boy names.

Since there are literally hundreds of thousands of websites dedicated to baby name directories, the secret then in finding and choosing modern baby names that goes well with the family name. This then requires a careful analysis and evaluation of all the options of cute baby names or unique baby boy names based on sound ease of spelling and pronunciation and nickname derivatives especially when combined with the family surname.

Make sure that your chosen name for baby boys is not only unique and unusual but has a meaning which you should know and inform him about later on. (You don’t want to name him Yipekaye simply because it’s Bruce Willis’/John McLane’s battle cry in the Die Hard series).

Baby boys names can be unique and unusual and can be almost anything as long as it has a meaning that makes your son (the owner of the name) proud. (You don’t want your son changing his cute baby name when he comes of age simply because he doesn’t like the way it sounds or because he has become the butt of jokes in school).

Since throughout our lives (and even after we die) we are identified by our first names, choosing baby boys names are very important and it is the parents’ responsibility to ensure that the cute baby name or modern name they choose is not going to result in a lifetime of embarrassment and ridicule.

Parents should use both traditional and non-traditional methods of choosing baby boy names and use the Internet as much as possible. Many online sites have unique baby boy names according to categories such as Eastern or Western, Biblical, mythological and others. Several sites even have an alphabetical listing of names gathered from the four corners of the globe. However, the most interesting site that caught my attention is the name generator – you only have to enter your first name and family name and you are presented with several options of unique baby boy names for your child!

Remember unique baby boy names give a lifetime of identity. Make your choice count wisely and your baby proud.

Trains, Planes, and Automobiles – My First Wheels!

Published by Baby Boys under Boy Games and Toys

Every child has a love affair with locomotion that only grows when you add wheels. Most of us can remember the Christmas when we got that monumental gift of childhood: our first bike. The desire to create unforgettable moments for our own children is what spurs the hoards of many of us parents out into stores holiday shopping for the perfect gift.

This effort is usually rewarded with delighted faces after the holiday shopping has been concluded and the gift given. There is nothing like the face your boy when they first lay eyes on their very own wheels. There is definitely nothing like hearing their squeals of delight and their expressions of freedom when they are zooming up the sidewalk under their own power, with the wind blowing through their hair.

Some parents are hesitant to purchase riding toys for their children because of the rate at which babies and toddlers grow. Don’t let this put you off. Most toys are built to grow with your baby boys and will provide them with hours of fun through their toddler years.

For children who are not able to walk on their own there are push toys that convert into sit and scoot bikes once your baby boy can walk. These are very popular with children because they can use this as a training toy to help them walk with supervision and without assistance. This provides play for your child over the course of two years!

There are ride on toys, which are also called “feet on the floor” toys that are perfect for the boys that are walking. Even before the child is walking steadily, these ride on toys are fun to push with the child sitting on the toy, while you hold him or her stable. You can push them back and forth or even around the room.

There are all sorts of tricycles your child will love. Tricycles offer the next level of freedom after the ride on toys because now, the child can use a pedal mechanism to make the toy go. This is oftentimes, the first opportunity for the child to learn how wheels, pedals and steering wheels work in tandem. Watch their eyes when they first learn how avoid running into something by using their own hand and eye coordination to get the toy to do what they need it to do. It’s an example of freedom, which wheels have always symbolized for all ages.

Pedals come on other wheeled vehicles in the form of pedal cars. In fact, there are not only pedal cars, but pedal trucks, including tow trucks and fire trucks. There are pedal trains for the train-lover. There are also a variety of pedal planes, designed and painted for boys and girls. It seems the younger generation understands equal opportunities in toy options. The pink planes are just as classy as the silver, red and blue ones. And just as much fun.

And with all this talk about wheels, we can’t leave out the traditional “little red wagons”. Wagons are just as popular as they ever were. In fact, wagons are not just used to carry the children around the neighborhood for a nice walk. You will find them being used at local events, taken on vacations for ease in sightseeing. Not only the kids, but also the gear for the afternoon will fit in the vehicle.

Whatever you choose for wheels for your child, I am sure the toy will provide many years of enjoyment and may even end up being the toy that is passed down to the next generation of freedom-lovers!
